Emma is working towards obtaining her accreditation membership for the Law Society Mental Health Scheme.

Languages

Emma joined Appleman Legal Solicitors in September 2016 as an Inhouse Paralegal and has since acquired a wealth of experience in working with clients detained under various sections of the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended by the 2007 Act).

Her duties include meeting with vulnerable clients all over London and helping them to exercise their rights under the Act. Emma takes an active part in assisting Solicitors in the case preparation process for Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Manager Hearings.

Emma chose this area of law as she enjoys the personal satisfaction in serving the vulnerable. She is a highly motivated and hardworking individual and is keen to continue her studies within the legal field.

Emma has worked at Appleman Legal Solicitor’s from September 2016 as a paralegal and is working towards her accreditation.
