Hajrah joined Appleman Legal in January 2022 as a Paralegal. She is based at our Head office in London.
Hajrah provides legal assistance to solicitors in all aspects of case preparation for First-tier Tribunals (Mental Health), Hospital Manager's Hearings, and Care Programme Approach (CPA) meetings. Her responsibilities include the perusal of documents, preparation of case bundles, drafting case correspondence and pleadings and attending to clients to obtain instructions and prepare witness statements.
Hajrah is a methodical and hard-working individual who can work accurately under pressure.
Hajrah recently graduated with an LLB Law degree with criminology in June 2021 from the university of Middlesex. Whilst studying at Middlesex university her key modules were Forensics and Mental Health and Institutions of Criminal Justice.
Career
Her experience at other firms nurtured her passion for law, especially in niche areas like Mental Health where clients are vulnerable and sometimes misrepresented. Hajrah joined as a member of the inner temple inns of court as she was initially contemplating training as a barrister.
