Noor Waheed specialises in Mental Health Law. She joined the Appleman Legal in March 2020.
Noor is based in Buckinghamshire and accepts instructions from clients nationally.
Noor is a specialist in Mental Health and is passionate about Human Rights.
She is an efficient, empathetic and attentive professional who takes a pragmatic and frank approach when advising her clients. She has a rich client following some of which she has represented for years due to the rapport and professional relationship that she has established with them.
She regularly advises and represents both restricted and unrestricted clients at the First-Tier Mental Health Tribunal, Hospital Managers Hearings, S.117 Aftercare meetings and Care Programme Approach Meetings.
Noor has also worked as a support worker with the mental health charity, Buckinghamshire Mind. Following her insight into the work the charity carries out to help individuals with mental health conditions recover in the community, this charity holds a special place in her heart.
Interests
Noor’s personal interests include spending time with her family, photography, travelling and fitness. She used to practise as a fitness instructor and enjoys dipping back into instructing classes when time permits.
