Priyanka joined Appleman Legal in June 2023 as a Mental Health Paralegal at our head office in London. She shares the firm’s commitment to legal aid and social welfare law. She has chosen the firm as the platform to further her legal career and is keen to demonstrate her skills to uphold our client’s rights.
Priyanka aspires to qualify as a Solicitor specialising in Human Rights law. She has already adopted the firm’s work ethos and the desire to provide the highest standard of client service. Within a short space of time, she has already proven herself to be a vital member of our team.
Career
Priyanka has previously worked as a Legal Assistant in a Corporate environment and showcased her ability to work well under pressure. However, whilst undertaking a work placement at our firm, it became apparent to her that her true calling was Human Rights law.
As a paralegal, Priyanka is responsible for attending clients to advise them on their rights and to obtain their instructions for their case. She assists our solicitors in all aspects of mental health cases such as applications to the First Tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers. Priyanka thoroughly enjoys all aspects of her work and is committed to delivering an excellent service in her objective to qualify as a Solicitor.
Education
Priyanka has successfully completed her Bachelor of Law degree in 2022 from the University of Essex and she is currently undertaking her Postgraduate studies on a part time basis.
Interests
Priyanka keeps herself mentally and physically active by partaking in badminton with her family members and regular sessions at gym.
