Samiira joined Appleman legal in May 2024. She has hands-on experience with dealing with clients detained under the Mental Healthaspects Act having previously worked as a mental health support worker. This has helped her gain the skill set to deal with vulnerable clients. Samiira assists with all aspects of case preparation in mental health cases dealing with both civil and restricted clients.

Career

Samiira aspires to qualify as a solicitor. She is looking forward to conducting her own advocacy at First-tier Tribunals (Mental Health) and is currently working towards undertaking the Law Society Mental Health Scheme accreditation.
